GIRI PRESS

About GIRI Press

GIRI Press is the dedicated publishing house of the GIRI ecosystem.

We publish, preserve, organize, and distribute research, professional knowledge, methodologies, technical resources, reference works, and other enduring intellectual contributions produced through GIRI.

Our purpose extends beyond the production of books and reports. GIRI Press provides the publishing and bibliographic infrastructure through which GIRI’s intellectual work can be formally documented, discovered, cited, distributed, preserved, and carried forward.

Our Mission

The mission of GIRI Press is to publish, preserve, organize, and distribute rigorous research, professional knowledge, technical resources, and enduring intellectual works produced through the GIRI ecosystem, making them accessible to professionals, researchers, institutions, libraries, organizations, and the wider public.

Our Vision

Our vision is to build an enduring publishing institution through which GIRI’s research, methodologies, professional knowledge, data, standards, and intellectual contributions can be preserved, discovered, studied, applied, and transmitted across generations.

What We Publish

GIRI Press publishes works arising from, advancing, documenting, or materially supporting the research, professional disciplines, methodologies, standards, and institutional mission of the GIRI ecosystem.

Our publishing program encompasses research reports, books and monographs, professional references, technical reports, working papers, methodologies, standards and specifications, industry and market studies, institutional editions, data publications, research collections, proceedings, bulletins, and other professional and scholarly resources.

Our Publishing Role

GIRI Press serves six enduring institutional functions:

Publication — transforming approved intellectual work into formal publications.

Preservation — maintaining stable records and enduring versions of published works.

Bibliographic Organization — assigning structured metadata, identifiers, classifications, series relationships, and publication histories.

Distribution — making publications discoverable and accessible to individuals and institutions.

Rights Stewardship — maintaining clear records concerning copyright, licensing, permissions, editions, and authorized distribution.

Institutional Memory — preserving the intellectual record of GIRI’s research, methodologies, professional disciplines, and evolving body of knowledge.

The GIRI Ecosystem

GIRI Press operates as the publishing institution for intellectual work produced across the wider GIRI ecosystem.

GIRI Institute conducts and develops research, methodologies, research programs, and institutional knowledge.

GIRI Local applies Local Business Visibility Management and related professional methodologies in commercial practice.

GIRI Advisory Group develops and applies systems concerned with revenue recovery, organizational performance, and related advisory disciplines.

GIRI Finance develops business financial education and related professional resources.

GIRI Press provides the common publishing infrastructure through which appropriate intellectual work from these areas can enter the permanent publication record.

Publishing Standards

Publication by GIRI Press signifies that a work has satisfied the editorial, production, documentation, and publication requirements applicable to its publication class.

Those requirements may differ between a research report, professional reference, methodology, technical report, dataset, or standard. GIRI Press therefore identifies the review and publication status of works as precisely as practicable rather than applying a single review designation to every publication.

Our publishing principles are:

Accuracy · Clarity · Traceability · Independence · Transparency · Correction · Permanence

An Enduring Record

GIRI Press treats publishing as more than the release of a document.

Publications may develop through new editions, versions, corrections, supplements, translations, datasets, or related research. Where appropriate, GIRI Press maintains those relationships as part of the publication record rather than silently replacing the intellectual history of a work.

Preservation is therefore treated as a publishing responsibility—not merely a technical backup function.

Publishing Knowledge for the Long Horizon

GIRI Press is being built for a body of knowledge that can grow across disciplines, industries, geographies, publication formats, and generations.

Its responsibility is not simply to publish what GIRI produces today, but to establish the infrastructure through which that knowledge can remain organized, discoverable, useful, and accountable over time.
